Retro Corner. Buy your fancy swing outfit at the event. Rockabilly style from Svendborg will be visiting us with fancy clothes and shoes.
 
Hairdressers at the scene will do your hair for a reasonable price.(Not available)

BEGINNERS INTERMEDIATE  Workshop:
 
You already know the basics of the dance, Gosia and Kuno and Miranda and Eiki from Copenhagen will challenge your Lindy skills with a great workshop. This workshop is not for complete beginners. You are required a fundamental knowledge of Lindy Hop. You can lead and follow basic six-count, 8-count.
 
At the checkout:
 
If you choose as a couple (Leader and follower) there will be no waiting list
If you choose as a leader there probably will be no waiting list
If you choose as a follower, there will probably be a waiting list at some point
 
 
INTERMEDIATE PLUS Workshop:
 
You are familiar with the dance, Gosia and Kuno and Miranda and Eiki from Copenhagen will challenge your Lindy skills in this workshop.
This is a level up and requires a fundamental knowledge of Lindy Hop. You can lead and follow basic six-count, 8-count.
You are familiar with charleston figures including the legendary swingout on the social dancefloor.

NEWBIES Workshop:
 
For you who want to try the lively dance, but have no experiance.
In this workshop some of the teachers from Sønderborg Lindy Hoppers will teach you the basics and some variations, so you are ready to try your new moves on the social dancefloor at the party.
 
Remember to upgrade your workshop with a Party Pass for only 150,- at the check out, if you want to join the Party/ies.
 
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
 
In lindy hop we are changing partners regulary, so it is not nescessary to sign up with a partner.
 
We want to balance the leader/followers as equal as possible though, therefore it is important to us, that you choose as which you want to participate.
 
Leaders are the leading part. (mostly men) 
Followers are the following part. (mostly women)
If you do have a partner, sign up as a couple.

Whenever you need a break from dancing, the bar will sell cold beers, sodas and cocktails of the 1940s for a very reasonable price. Free snacks and tap water all night.
 
Music will be provided by a DJ friday.
 
And the amazing Big Band Opus 2 and a DJ will keep our feet dancing all night.

Sønderborg Lindy Hoppers is a non-profit swing dance organization in Sønderborg. Our goal is to promote Swing dancing in the region with an emphasis on joy and community. We were founded two years ago in march 2022 - we've existed for two years now! And this we will celebrate with another big swing party!

Workshops, DJ og det legendariske OPUS 2 BIG BAND til lørdags aften fest.

PRE-PARTY FREDAG

Retrohjørne. Køb dit smarte swing-tøj ved arrangementet. Rockabilly-style fra Svendborg vil besøge os med smart tøj og sko.

Frisører på stedet vil sætte dit hår til en rimelig pris.

Sønderborg Lindy Hoppers vil servere en velkomstdrink, snacks hele natten og gratis vand ved lørdagsfesten med OPUS 2 BIG BAND.

  • Til dig, der aldrig har danset lindyhop før, men gerne vil prøve denne sjove og livlige dans. Du lærer de grundlæggende trin samt nogle variationer, så du er klar til dansegulvet ved aftenens fest.

TILBUD: Ved kassen kan du vælge partypasset for kun 150,- i stedet for 200,- DVS du får en "full pass" billet til kun 350,-

Du kender allerede de grundlæggende trin, Gosia og Kuno og Miranda og Eiki fra København vil udfordre dine Lindy-færdigheder med en fantastisk workshop. Denne workshop er ikke for helt nybegyndere. Du skal have grundlæggende viden om Lindy Hop. Du kan lede og følge grundlæggende six - og eight count moves.

Du er fortrolig med dansen, Gosia og Kuno og Miranda og Eiki fra København vil udfordre dine Lindy-færdigheder i denne workshop. Dette er et niveau op og kræver grundlæggende kendskab til Lindy Hop. Du kan lede og følge grundlæggende sekstakts- og ottetaktbevægelser. Du er fortrolig med charleston-bevægelser, herunder den legendariske swingout på dansegulvet.

NEWBIES:

VIGTIG INFORMATION:

I lindy hop skifter vi partnere regelmæssigt, så det er ikke nødvendigt at tilmelde dig med en partner.

Vi vil gerne balancere leder/følgere så lige som muligt, derfor er det vigtigt for os, at du vælger, hvordan du ønsker at deltage. Ledere er den ledende del. (mest mænd) Følgere er den følgende del. (mest kvinder) Hvis du har en partner, skal du tilmelde dig som et par.
